Dog walkers and pet sitters
For walks while you're at work or a sitter while you travel, apps like Rover and Wag list background-checked walkers and sitters across Vancouver and Camas, with reviews from local owners.
Meet a new sitter with your dog before you book, and check that they're comfortable with your dog's size and energy.
Is pet insurance worth it?
A night at an emergency vet can easily cost $1,500 to $5,000. Pet insurance pays back part of big, surprise bills like that, usually 70 to 90 percent after a deductible. It's most worth it for puppies and for breeds prone to costly problems. It won't cover conditions your dog already has, so the earlier you sign up, the more it covers.
